Objectum sexuality is an orientation toward the affectionate and erotic attraction to objects, landmarks, and transportation—often to the exclusion of erotic attraction to people. This two-part class offers an overview of objectum sexuality by one of the world’s first sexological researchers into this topic.
This two-part instructor-led class will broaden your understanding of human sexual and relational behavior, but the ultimate focus is on the OS client and how you can understand and effectively assist this person in his/her/hir goals. You’ll attend two 1-hour, live webinar classes, plus spend additional time studying materials and videos.
Part One addresses objectum sexuality as a sexual orientation and its links to autism spectrum conditions, object personification synesthesia, gender variance, and animism.
Part Two addresses social and clinical considerations for people with OS and the context of sexual human rights.
Learning Objectives: Learn the general characteristics of objectum sexuals, their lives and loves. Understand the incidence of autism and synesthesia in the OS community. Consider three fictitious case studies of OS people. Learn guidelines to becoming an “OS Aware Professional” in your practice.
This course is open to adults only.
By registering for this course you affirm that you are 18 or older.
