
Amy Marsh, EdD, DHS, ACS, CHt is a clinical sexologist and hypnotherapist as well as a sex writer, sex educator, and an associate professor of sexology at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS) in San Francisco. She has both an EdD and a professional doctorate in human sexuality (DHS) from IASHS. Dr. Marsh is also the founder of the Center for Sexological Hypnotism.
Dr. Marsh has presented at several conferences on a variety of sex and gender-related topics, including sex and sensory dysfunction; Asperger’s Syndrome and sexuality; transgender women of Hawai’i; and full-day SAR (sexual attitude restructuring) programs. Her private practice is kink-aware, poly and LGBTQI etc. friendly.
She is published in the Electronic Journal of Human Sexuality and also enjoyed writing a weekly column, “Love’s Outer Limits,” for Carnalnation.com (Oct. 2009-Oct. 2010).
Dr. Marsh blogs at WordPress and Your Tango Experts and hosts a bi-monthly internet radio show on Fridays at 8:30 pm Pacific time.
As one of the first people to research objectum sexuality, she has appeared nationally on “Good Morning America,” “The Tyra Banks Show,” and the National Geographic Taboo “Forbidden Love” episode, which first aired in June, 2011.
Dr. Marsh also publishes “The Intimate Aspie” online magazine and “There’s More: A Parent’s Guide to Alternative Sexualities.”
