
Diana & Richard Daffner share with others what works for them, and what matters to them, in their own relationship. Married since 1985, the Daffners help couples experience and embody the love that is in their hearts. They are the authors of the book, Tantric Sex for Busy Couples: How to Deepen Your Passion in Just Ten Minutes a Day, and the audio-CD, Lessons in Intimacy: The Lover’s Touch..
Together, they developed and teach Tantra Tai Chi as a tool for intimacy and energetic connection. Their video, Tantra Tai Chi for Couples, has been featured on the Late Show with Dave Letterman.
Richard and Diana are both certified sexologists, affiliated with the Midwest Institute of Sexology, and both are also certified teachers of T’ai Chi Chih. Richard has traveled extensively in India and applied his learning to the business world. Diana holds an M.A. in Counseling and has studied and taught in the fields of meditation, massage and energy awareness for more than over30 thirty years. A black belt in Aikido, she was featured in the book Women in Aikido. She has led workshops at Esalen Institute and was licensed by the state of California to teach energy massage.
A Reiki teacher, Diana specializes in attuning couples to the Reiki energy, increasing their ability to heal and celebrate one another through touch. Her poem, The Lover’s Touch, can be found on numerous internet sites and print publications, and is recited on the CD Lessons in Intimacy.
The Daffners’ intimacy workshops have been featured in SELF, Glamour, Delicious, Spirituality & Health, and countless other publications.
Dedicated to educating professionals as well as the public, the Daffners have been guest instructors in the sexology program at the University of South Florida and have presented their program at national gatherings such as the Whole Life Expo, New Life Expo, the Smart Marriages Annual Conference, and the annual meeting of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.
In addition to Intimacy Retreat workshops, the Daffners have a private practice in Siesta Key (Sarasota), Florida. They are members of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT)
