Of Dr. John Warren’s four published works, the most popular, The Loving Dominant, is a nonfiction exploration of the hows and whys of consensual domination and submission play. Considered by many to be a classic, The Loving Dominant is frequently recommended to those exploring BDSM.
He has also authored numerous magazine articles and has made hundreds of presentations about diverse aspects of alternative lifestyles and relationships across the United States and Canada. He has recently retired from live presenting, but will continue to share his expertise through his online courses and coaching.
Dr. Warren received his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee. He has taught at both East Carolina University and the University of Southern Mississippi and was the vice president of Erdos & Morgan, a Madison Ave media research firm. After moving to Boston to begin his writing career, he ran Diversified Services, a mail order company that provided adult books and toys for over a decade. He is married to Libby, the co-author of The Loving Dominant on submission.
